Obtaining a Library card

You may get a card if you live in Hicksville.

Apply in person at the library. Bring two forms of identification. Acceptable identification is defined as follows:
1. A valid driver's license or other identification with a photo and a current residential address;
2. A utility bill, credit card bill, current car registration, insurance card, property tax bill, mortgage statement, bank statement, typed lease, landlord's notarized letter, or school identification. All of the above must have your current Hicksville address.

(Why is a driver's license not enough? If someone has moved recently their driver's license may not reflect a change of address.)

Children have to be able to sign their name and have parental approval for acquiring a library card. Please bring in one of the above mentioned examples for proof of residency.
