Virtual Reality

Apologies, Virtual Reality will be unavailable on Thursday February 6th due to a class scheduled for the room.

Come check out virtual reality with the HTC Vive! The virtual reality headset will be available by appointment on Thursday afternoons as well as intermittent days throughout the year. Click on Book Appointment below to reserve a time slot! If you are interested in using the virtual reality headset but are unable to attend on Thursdays please contact Dan at druss@hicksvillelibrary.org.

Virtual Reality users must be 7 years of age or older and be Hicksville Library patrons.

Time slots will be limited to 15 minutes per person.

Our current library of games includes:

  • Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes (a great game for a group to work as a team!)
  • Space Pirate Trainer
  • Elite Dangerous
