Obtain a Library Card

Library cards are issued immediately to residents of Hicksville School District if you are over the age of 18 with two forms of identification, including proof of residency and one picture ID. Library cards are valid for three years. Those under 18 must have a legal guardian sign their application before they can get a card.

Examples of acceptable identification: PICTURE ID AND ONE (1) OF THE FOLLOWING PROOFS OF RESIDENCE:

  • Check out library’s adult and children’s nooks
  • Use the library's computers with Internet

  • Request books from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan
  • Sign up for programs and classes at the library

Registration will begin on Monday, June 19 at 9:15am. CLASSES: Saturdays, July 1,8,15, 22, 29 GRADES: 1st – 6th Come join the Chess Nuts whose goal is to promote the educational and positive benefits of chess to all children.
