Obtain a Library Card

Library cards are issued immediately to residents of Hicksville School District if you are over the age of 18 with two forms of identification, including proof of residency and one picture ID. Library cards are valid for three years. Those under 18 must have a legal guardian sign their application before they can get a card. You can also apply for a digital library card here!

Examples of acceptable identification: PICTURE ID AND ONE (1) OF THE FOLLOWING PROOFS OF RESIDENCE:

  • Passport
  • Alien Registration Card

PROOF OF RESIDENCE

  • Telephone Bill
  • Tax Bill
  • Utility Bill
  • Vehicle Insurance Card
  • NYS Motor Vehicle Registration
  • Youth: School Mail, ID, or Buss Pass
  • Other
