Library 3D Printer Being Used to Make PPE

Long Island libraries are doing their part in helping the community by using 3D printers to create personal protection equipment (PPE) like Face Shields for our first responders and staff at hospitals. The Hicksville Library has lent out one of our 3D printers to the Suffolk County Library System to assist in their efforts while our computer technician is using our second printer and helping to print face shields from home. This photo shows the face shields that were donated to these brave healthcare workers at St. Joseph's Hospital.
