Library Closing Early

On Friday, April 29th, the Library will be closing at 3:00 PM so that we may continue work on the heating and air conditioning ventilation unit. Thank you.

Library Closure

Work being done to dismantle a portion of the Library’s HVAC system that is being replaces caused a temporary air quality issue in a limited area within the Library on Tuesday, April 19th.

To ensure that any residual air quality concerns were addressed, a professional commercial cleaning company was retained to thoroughly clean the air vents and surface areas that had been affected. These steps have been taken to ensure the safety of the Library’s employees and its patrons. Please see the listing below for information on cancelled or postponed programs.

Library Construction Project

The Hicksville Library is undergoing an HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) construction project.
